The tragedy at the Walmart broke many hearts in our community. We paid our respects to those lives lost with a moment of silence. The recent events affected our assembly location logistically but in spite of this challenge NAMIC – Virginia was built on determination and commitment. We are determined to make an impact in our community, and we are committed to the work in which we volunteered to do. This is the reason why we continue to serve our homeless community here at the Walmart parking lot each and every quarter. A special thank you to Cox Communications for allowing us to assemble our care packages in their parking lot.
