On Saturday September 17th NAMIC-Virginia gathered at the Uno’s Pizzeria & Grill in Norfolk for our Back to School Donation Drive. We enjoyed music and food, while we collected a plethora of new school supplies for the Boys and Girls Club of the Virginia Peninsula. Although the school year has started already, we know that the need for these supplies continues throughout the year as they use them for daily lessons. They will be disbursed to the K-12 schools that have the most need in the Tidewater area.
We received 34 different types of supplies, with a grand total of 298 individual items.
