Taconya Hammond, a Supervisor in Customer Cares, has over 19 years of experience in the telecommunications industry serving in many roles related to both residential and business solutions.
Taconya holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and is pursuing her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. In her tenure with Cox Communications, Taconya is a three-time recipient of the Cox Communications Employee of the Quarter. She has also served as a Charter Member of the Cox Quality Action Team and the Regional Operations Center Employee Involvement Committee.
Taconya previously served as the Membership & Recruitment Committee Chair from 2017-2021 for NAMIC-Virginia. In this role, she successfully increased membership by remaining engaged with our members and fostering strong partnerships with organizations across the Hampton Roads and Richmond service areas. In her free time, Taconya enjoys photography, painting, bowling and making crafts.
