NAMIC Virginia Members,
As we continue to grow as a chapter there are tons of opportunities for members to be a part of our committees to help us continue to deliver high quality content to our members and grow our membership base. We have openings for a Treasurer as well as our Sponsorship, Membership/Recruiting and Marketing Teams, if you would like to help us promote the NAMIC vision and have a talent for one of the following roles, to contact us click here.

 

Chapter Treasurer: As a member of the NAMIC Board, the Treasurer is responsible for accounting and maintaining other financial records, overseeing the reporting and revenue generating areas for the chapter. The Treasurer partners with the Chapter President to implement the annual budget and strategic plan. Additionally, the Treasurer provides written monthly financial report in preparation for regular Chapter Board meetings and files year-end financial reporting, budget and financial summary with NAMIC National. The Treasurer will perform other financially related duties as needed and/or assigned. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in the areas of finance, accounting and/or business operations.

Membership Chair: This NAMIC leader is responsible for developing and executing the Chapter’s recruiting strategy by leading bi-weekly progress meetings with the membership team and serving as a member of the Chapter leadership team which includes meeting with the NAMIC Virginia Board and other Chapter chairs on a bi-weekly basis. The ideal candidate would have a talent for networking and storytelling that would be utilized in merchandising the NAMIC vision to potential members to persuade them to join our dynamic organization.

Sponsorship Team Member: This committee member would be a part of our NAMIC Virginia Sponsorship Team and would be responsible for executing the process of raising funds for NAMIC Virginia through solicitation of corporate sponsors. Committee members are asked to help identify potential sponsoring companies and are required to follow-up with sponsors regarding their sponsorship benefits. Committee members are also asked to help plan, implement and volunteer for chapter fundraising activities such as dining for dollars programs, silent auctions and raffles. The ideal candidate for this committee should be energetic, highly motivated and demonstrate a willingness to present sponsorship information to potential sponsors via phone call, email or face-to-face visits and strive to close the deal.

Marketing Team Member: This committee member would be a part of our NAMIC Virginia Marketing Team and would be responsible for collaborating with other members on social media strategy, member communications and chapter event marketing. The ideal candidate for this committee would have a talent in photography and videography that would be utilized for the branding of our chapters events.
